LINCOLN
MIDDLE SCHOOL RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY CELEBRATES COMPLETION OF MODERNIZATION PROJECT
A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled
at Lincoln Middle School on Wednesday, February 1 at 3:30p.m. to memorialize
the completion of the modernization project.
This
exciting event, the first ribbon cutting ceremony in the Measure BB program, is
open to the public. Site and District staff, architects and contractors will
also be in attendance to celebrate.
The modernization at Lincoln Middle School included
renovating the former library and making three classrooms four new ones, two
science labs and a shared prep room. There will be a guided tour through the
newly renovated area at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
"We are eager to celebrate this event and move forward with the next
project, a new, two-story library and classrooms building, which will also
include a new chorus room and additional science labs," Principal Webb
said. "The new project will continue to offer our students the tools they
need to succeed in high school and beyond."
Construction
of the new, two-story building is estimated to begin in the first quarter of
2012.

Lincoln
Yearbook
The LMS
yearbook is in need of more student pictures! Could you please help us
round up some more photos of students? The attached flier explains how
parents/students can upload personal pictures (from trips, summer break,
sports, other activities inside or outside of school) to the yearbook website
for possible inclusion in the Yearbook. Click here for how to help.
SAVE THE DATE - LINCOLN LOUNGE
March 17th 2012
- Silent / Live Auction
Please save the
date for Lincoln's adult only school fundraiser, the Lincoln Lounge - March 17,
2012. We are looking for a live auction committee chair. This key
position would work with the event committee chair to solicit about 10 - 12 items
that could form the basis for the live auction, a key component to our
fundraiser. Even if you can't chair the committee, you can help with the
live and silent auction. Just go to the website and click on the Lincoln
Lounge icon, you can download the auction item form and other helpful tips
about soliciting items. The event promises to be lots of fun with food, drink,
dancing, gambling, live and silent auction. Check it out
